Rocky boots seem to be pretty good. I have tested them on western diamond backs, copperhheads, canebrakes, and cottonmouths and they have held up well. Mine however are no longer snake bite proof in the bend of my toes where the material has worn thin.

i have worn my boots every day for about 6 months
they have held up well and they are comfortable. i will test them more in the summer on my adventures i think that they will stop a viper bite but i dont think thy will protect me from an elapid bite with their small fixed fangs and strong jaws. i will check back after i am done testing.
