This book is so hideously uninteresting it's not even funny. I was required to read this for my religion class during the section on christianity, and while I know the book is based on a Christian religion, it just didn't feel like it fit. Anyway, if you were thinking of reading this for entertainment? Don't. If you're required to read it? My sincerest appologies...

Written like a children's book. I had to read this for a Cultural Diversity class, and wish I didn't have to read it.

i am a believer of this faith and know alot of the people in this book.dennis covington wrote alot of lies told by people without finding out if they were fact or fiction.he also wrote half truths...he wrote incidents without telling the whole story..only what he wanted the readers to know.
he portays himself as someone sincere about the church, but(in my opinion) all he was after was a story and fame.
