Baby Bitis Gabonica Rhinoceros

I am a beginner on Bitis and i really need help with : A baby gaboon viper is really stressed and the ecdysis is very late,the humidity is good and i am keeping the skin hydrataed,however,i can not see him drinking water not even in the mister, i have a few questions and really look for help: --The humidity is ok (72%)now but to regulate it automatically(day/night) is safe to use foggers( i have concerns of respiratory diseases) because of the fogger. Once he gave the first signs of ecdysis i stopped feeding and it was like 15-days ago,the skin do not look stucked but i really feel him very stressed, --Before starting the ecdysis he was eating well and looking hydrated(but i never saw him drinking) -I tried baths in warm water but he did not shed and became more stressed.I am trying to keep the skin hydrated to avoid getting stucked,misting is also stressing. i know that this level of stress can lead to a number of diseases... can any of you share some knowledge with a beginner? I will be very gratefull

opening a reptile zoo venom lab NC (raleigh)

I am interested and looking into starting a reptile zoo with a focus on education and endangered species breeding would love to also start a venom bank with it afterwards and I have been considering looking for a business partner to make this happen together there was a guy in NC operating a private venom lab I was going to do this with never heard back from him to my understanding from a guy working with him he moved and stopped operating (mentioning in case you see this I still want to get in touch with you) so im back on the hunt or just starting this myself anyone interested or advice email me at blacksun747@yahoo.com ideally looking at opening a reptile zoo breeding facility first similar setup to cape fear serpentarium and reptile lagoon only with a additional large outdoor area and if that is sustained successfully with great reputation with a vast species of snakes breeding successfully I would like to obtain contracts with buyers and zoos to start a operating venom lab with in the zoo I have not had much luck finding my dream reptile job anywhere currently working at a non aza zoo but still looking and applying to aza facilities none of which near by have openings in their herp department therefore I am looking into doing this myself in the area

Searching For Knowledge

I am looking for experience in keeping and handling venomous reptiles. I am quite knowledgeable in the textbook sense, but I lack experience, and there is ALWAYS more to learn. Catching and releasing snakes is something I have been doing since I was very small, even venomous ones, but I still need the hands on training. I would be greatly appreciative if some HOTs keeper near Fredericksburg VA would be able to help me learn, as an apprentice of sorts. Herpetology is where I want to go with my life. 2-headed rat snake

In the "Life Just Isn't Fair" dept., a lady just called me who found a young bicephalous rat snake (that would be a NC coastal yellow rat) in Beaufort Co. She actually doesn't like snakes, but is obviously seeing this as an opportunity to make some big $$$. Does anyone know what the actual market value of a WC 2-headed rat snake might be? burm and retic genetics

Im looking for someone to help me out with getting certain morphs I have burms: albino, green, albino green, granite, albino granite, het green, het albino. Retics: super dwarf tiger, normal, sulawesi, supertiger, lavender albino, het albino. I want to get or make some how but I cant find online anywhere what I need to get to following morphs burms: piebald, hypo, pearl, blue eye lucestic, ivory, caramel albino, butterscoth, patternless green, tiger. Retics: lucestic, ivory, carmel, titanium, platinum, sunfire, anthrax, piebald possible one or two others. I think I can get pearls by albino x hypo and blue eye lucys by hypo x hypo on the burms but im not sure if thats done with just normal hypo or if they need to be het for something since they are co dominant? Id appreciate the help from anyone that knows genetics with retics burms and rocks and possible somone to that has some morphs for sale that would be useful in this maybe thanks Im also looking male yellow and green anaconda albino t+ blood python boas: lipstick albino, coral albino, albino, hypo with lots of red/orange, snow, lucy

Tryin to find some info on blue eastern box turtles found this big male last year and can't seem to find much info.. is the blue genetic ? Could it be a dominate gene? Any info would be nice... Pic is not at all photo shopped took pic with my droid... Thanks.
