Was wondering if anyone has worked with molossus enough to know whether or not rainfall has an effect on their breeding cycles.

The molossus is a harder rattler to breed in my opinon, because you can find them almost year round. So that means that to get your animals to breed you have to work with the temp. more then you would most other North American venomous etc.I usully keep mine at about 70-75F diring winter months that is Sep.-late Feb. I mist those animals about once every 2.5 to 3 weeks. Now this is not a light mist but a down pore.(I make sure to drain there cage after)The molossus that I am keeping under these condisions have hooked up twice. So I am planning on warming them up soon because I do not want any problems if she did take. Now all this is on Arizona molossus.I would think that it would be about the same if they were from New Mexico,Texas<but I am not sure about the Mexican speices.
