Anyone know who will be selling hots this year at the show. Anyone good? I have heard alot of things from last years show, both good and bad. How does the S. Carolina show compare with the Hamburg show? I have been to the Hamburg show many times and the selection of hots is good, but there are some people who have told me the SC show is more expansive and competitive as well as offering 100 times more hots. Thanks everybody!

Tom,
The following link:http://www.reptileandexoticanimalshow.com/sc/index.html will take you to the show's website giving all the info you asked for like the list of exhibitors. Also, the South Carolina show is the annual meeting place for the many site/society members.
Hope this helps.
Later,
Todd

I appreciate you giving me that link. But, as we all know from experience, what appears on the websites is totally different in person. The louisiana show sucked really bad. They took a whole page out to advertise in the Reptiles magazine. What I am looking for is people who have been there before. Not a link. have already visited the unupdated link. So, if anyone has already been there please give me your insight on how the show compares with Hamburg. What I am going on now is conjecture from other people. Everyone in here is fantastic when it comes to herps. I have also heard that this show even beats the annual Daytona show. I ahve been to that one, as well. Its huge, but 90%-95% non venomous. What venomous they did diplay there last month was either common or overpriced. It was a fun experience overall.

I went to the Sc show last year and I really liked it. I even got 6 snakes there. The only thing I have heard was that it is one of the dirtiest show in the country. I would say if you get some snakes definatly put them in isolation after that show I had a severe mite outbreak.

Phillip, your awesome, man! I appreciate that feedback. I went the Hamburg show and walked out with 9 snakes that were pretty well cared for. I am just wondering if it will be worth the drive from Michigan. My main concern is: Will any of the well-known hot herp breeders/vendors be attending ie- Hank Molt or any other popular people. Again, thank you very much
