hi , yeh mole vipers are very intersting little snakes from africa , burrowing snakes , that usually lay about 2-11 eggs .Most atractaspids are inoffensive or too small to envenom a person effectively. Very few deaths seem to have resulted from accidents with stiletto snakes, although large individuals of Atractaspis microlepidota and other long-glanded species are certainly dangerous.there about about 11 genus in the family Atractaspididae.
as for the genus Amblyodipsas there are about 9 species as far as i know. ( someone else will correct me if i m wrong which is good ).
natel glossed snake.
purple glossed snake
katanga glossed snake.
eastern glossed snake.
comman glossed snake.
rodhain glossed snake.
teitani glossed snake.
dull purple glossed snake.
kalahari glossed snake.
as far as i know thats about it for the glossed snakes.
hope this helps. SHAUN
