My reading of this article leaves some doubt as to whether they performed the fasciotomy or not. Someone was called in but you could interpret the next sentence as suggesting that they decided to deal with the AV first (very unclear). Would they be releasing her "in a few days" if they had done a fasciotomy? I don't know...
