Hey, I finally got my diamondback to eat. I made a cheap documentay last night with a corn snake and a common snapping turtle. I need to get more equipment to start documentaries. Im not trying to be a super star or anything, but I am interested in making documentary films. I whine to much. Lame excuse number 1: Ive been on anti depressant medication for 9 months, I stopped taking it because its too much of a hassle. After a while it will go out of my system and I will calm down, but right now i get aggitated very easily and I am tired alot. I am doing pretty well now because this time I quit slowly. (by the way, the medication is doctor prescribed and Ive been on a "program" I guess you can call it) I not as jumpy now as I was a few days ago. I have an appointment next week to see if im ready to quit the medication. (im not crazy lol, I just got prescribed the medication because of a death in the family) Im sorry for being so whiny, but now I think that Im ready to get things done.

I know Jeremy.. I saw the post...good for you & the EDB. Good that you're doing good things with your camera. Tha's how so of the great directors got started. You really need to consider getting back to school. Without schooling you're really limiting your potiental.
Best,
Al

Phillip, I can understand where you are coming from. I have been on the receiving end of a genuine Jim Harrison lecture. He and his wife got on to me pretty hard about a year ago for doing my own venom extractions. Something you need to keep in perspective is that Jim is one of the nations foremost experts. If he has taken the time to tell you something, even if you don’t like it, listen to it. It can only help you. Especially if you are planning to make a career in herpetology. Being on the good side of Jim can only help you. Most would consider Jim second only to Haast in this field, and Haast is 94 years old. He can’t live forever, by the time you finish college you can expect Jim to be regarded as the tops of the field. Knowing him would go a long way toward getting that job you want. And that picture that upsets you so much, I took it. That was my snake, and I can assure you Chris was not within the strike range at anytime.
