How big a coffee table you want to have? A 7 and a half foot boa will need a fairly large cage. I never kept a boa but I have kept a big 5 ft ball python and it needed a lot of space. U could use a thick glass aquarium with metal or wooden edges for it to look nice but then you`d have to use a light bulb or a heat pad. Using a plastic cage and keeping your room temp high would be good alternative. Before you do this think about it: do you realy want to see a big boa take a dump while your having coffee with a friend ? U know what quanteties of crap they can produce.

I knew someone that used an old display case, like the ones you see in jewlery stores, dept. stores, etc. It was an antique and trimed out nice with oak.The ones you see now are all glass or glass with metal trim. His seemed to work great. It had sliding doors on one side and was equiped with lights and even locked.Marty
