Hi everyone, I am curios to know if anyone has found a eastern diamondback rattlesnake (C. adamanteus) in NC. Any info on this will be greatly appreciated and may aid in land preservation for the specie.
Thanks

I've not heard of any in my area of NC which is Wilmington, mostly CB Rattlers-mean little guys.. If you ever get the chance you need to come here to visit the "Cape Fear Serpentarium". It is a first class, two level snake display. It is owned by Dean Ripa who, I undersand, milks and sells the venom from many very deadly species and as a sort of "side business" opened this facility. I can't stress enough how great his place is. He has some huge hots in beautiful enclosures
