Are there any papers or books out there with any info on W. Massasauga? Natural History, behavior etc. I am not really looking for captive husbandry info, but any information would be nice.

Try:
The book "Texas Snakes" by Werler and Dixon.
Also looking in the reference section of most snake books for their sources might give you some academic papers to find at a local college library.
Another good bet would be to go to a university library and get on one of their computers. They should have an academic search engines like "EBSOhost" or "PROquest." These engines search through all the scientific journals for you. An addtional engine that I think you can use from your home is www.BioOne.org
