Pick a state, it's the most common venomous snake in the united states!!! They are rather easy to find at nights crossing roads. Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina & Texas are states I have found them in. But they occur in many more. There's a LOT of info on the internet, just type in copperhead and hit search!!! Hope this helps.

Most all the Southeatern states hold copperheads, like Bobby said do some reaserch. Do be careful if you deside to go out looking, the copperhead shares a lot of its range with 3 or 4 other highly toxic species. SORRYYY if im sounding like a mom LOL, i just dont know your handling history SORRYYY. Good luck hope you find some........Happy herping Wally
