It wouldnt be labeled correctly because it say Agkistrodon contortrix instead of Agkistrodon piscivorous. I still think its a cross because Its face looks like a cottonmouth and its neck looks like a copperhead.

I looked at the picture again and Im still convinced its a cross. Please everyone take a close look.Viperinae page 20 its on the left hand side in the second row of pictures.

The snake is labeled incorrectly.
It is clearly Agkistrodon piscivorus.
It is also in the wrong album as Agkistrodon are not members of Viperinae and the picture will be moved later this evening.
Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

Haha, oops, I guess I'm a little more rusty on my Crote Latin than I thought. I meant cottonmouth but looked right over the scientific name. You guys are right, it is labeled incorrectly, but it is a cottonmouth. Still doesn't appear to be a cross though.

The picture has been moved and can now be found on page 33 of the Crotalidae II section with an amended commentary.
