Hi Marty. When you were herping fort mountain, did you find your snakes in the state park? If not could you email me and tell me where you found them? (If you want to part with the info) I live on fort mountain and I try to find other places on the mountain to find timbers. Ive found a few good spots but I need to find more. bush_viper17@yahoo.com

Today I found an neonate canebrake while herping in south Ga. took some pics. Got some injuries from a preditor or something. But still seems evry alert and active. I need to find some one that can bring him back to shape. I would but ' I have a couple of kids now,

About 4 days ago, I saw a (Lampropeltis g. nigra) Black Kingsnake, he/she was sunning on top of a old board. It was not a really big Snake, only about 3 ½' long. I also saw a (Agkistrodon piscivorus) Cottonmouth (not sure what Sub-Species) swimming, from a the bank. That’s it as for the past 2 weeks......Be safe ya’ll, happy herping, Wally
