Coral Snakes can be hard to find. I have only seen 2 in 14 or so years of herping. I found both in a little area close to my house called Bell Minor, I saw both of them on the same day. I know that according to Field Guides, we should not have Coral Snakes in North AL, but I found those 2, so we must have some. Like I said, its like trying to find a needle in a hay stack. Now I do know that it is easy to find Corals in the deeper Southeast USA, so your best bet would probably be to go to deep South GA..............Be safe, happy herping, Wally

The Apalachicola National forest is the best place that I know of. The last trip that I went on with "the gang", we found 3 between about 9 of us.

Not far from Galveston, Texas, is a small community called Liverpool, Texas. Unless you have a very detailed map, it's probably not on it. I have a friend who lives there, who supplied me with several beautiful specimens this last spring. Juvenile, and adult alike. I could not convince them to feed, so after a couple of weeks, took them to Brazos Bend State Park for release.
If you are interested, perhaps I can arrange to get one to you...
