I live in Georgia where it is legal to keep native venomous snakes. If I decided to breed and sell natives, would I still have to have a liscence to do so?

Yes, you do have to have a permit to sell venomous snakes in Georgia as well as some pricey insurance. Go to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources web site and look up the phone number for the Special Permits Division. They are located in Social Circle, Georgia and will be able to answer all of your questions.

That is a very gray area, and also a potentially litigious situation. Check with an attorney.
