I've got a big carpet python that I bought from someone who said that it tries to bite every time he goes near it.I've had it about six months now, and its one of the nicest snakes I have.It has never even hissed.I didn't really think about it until you posted this question, but maybe she just didn't like the guy.Some studies on this would be interesting.
