I think that everyone has their own say in what they do. Whos to say that we cant live our lives how we want. I know that some laws are a must, but some laws are getting to be ridiculous. This is a stupid metaphor, but, look at how other animals live there lives, they make there own judgements and if its dangerous its dangerous, if its not its not. If you feel that you are capable of doing anything you feel passionatly about, then who can stop you. I know we can let, say, a 10 year old walk into a pet shop and buy a mamba, but if someone completely knows what they are getting into and has proven that he/she possesses the skill and knowledge of keeping a dangerous animal safely then why would that person not be allowed to do so. I think that we need a regristry system for animals that are capable of taking a human life. I think that you wouldnt need to register for a copperhead or a pigmy rattlesnake or something like that, that isnt very comparably dangerous, but I think that we should have a registry system for people getting something like a black mamba or something like that that is very capable of being dangerous and leave it at that. Because if the person that gets the snake know what to expect, let the keeper make the decision. Were all free.....right??

I get tired of people looking at our community like we are a lot of brainless, gothic freaks who worship satan and have a death wish, when in fact, the smartest and most responsible people ive ever met are venomous keepers. Most venomous keepers that I have met keep venomous and dangerous animals because noone else loves them and actually want to help the world be a better place for man and wildlife. We teach people that you can go into the woods and see the world for what it is without killing everything we come across. Venomous keepers tend to have a healthy and positive outlook on things and have a knack for living life peacefully.

You want to be saved from those trying to save you? I detect a slight note of sarcasm in your statement. We enjoy an amount of freedom in keeping dangerous animals right now in many states, but unless we come together and show some responsibility amongst our community and prove that we're not a bunch of crazy lunes, then the clock will continue to count down until we have lost those privileges.

It's the kind of name one would use if he were kicked off this site a couple years ago and has returned (like he said he would) with several different identities.
