Does anyone know anything about BD? I recently read 2 short articles about it. I own a young Green Burmese and wonder if it will reach adulthood or contaminate my other snakes.

QUITE POSSIBLY BOTH.. not to scare you, but its a very mysterious disease.
Depends on whether or not he was ever exposed to the disease before.
Due to the nature of the disease and case history's.
Often the scenario is that an infected burm does great, and grows to a decent size, shows no signs of illness. Until its triggered the first time you have a power outage or his optimal temps drops. Then it appears.
What comes on appears as a simple resp. You treat it and it goes away, but only to return again. More severe and so on.
I dont think there has been a successful treatment to date (almost every drug has been throw at it) though temporary health can be achieved before retrogression occurs. Something may have recently been discovered however, I dont keep up to date much anymore with the burmese scene.
The safest route is keep all burms seperate, raise them and keep records. Dont switch out waterbowls or decorations if you use them. Be sure before breeding or introducing that your pairs are clean.
In the end, you may not even have a burm that may be infected, but better safe then sorry.
