I have a male Sistrurus C. Tergiminus and a female Sisturus C. Catinatus I was wondering if the two can breed. I would imagine they could being sub-species but I am not sure....

I would say absolutely they can breed.
Just because they can, doesn't mean they should.

Subspecies can breed well and have fertile offspring. If you`re planing on keeping the babyes in captivity you could do it but don`t even think about releasing the hibrid snakes into the wild, that would be completely unethical. Best regards, Alex S.

I have no intention of breeding or releasing them I was just wondering about the possibility of breeding subspecies of Sistrurus. I am an ethical and experienced herpetoculturalist, both Venomous and Non-Ven.
