Im definitely planning a Georgia trip with a buddy of mine sometime. Either spring or fall. Since we're in Virginia, Im sure there will be TONS of places to stop along the way. It might actually take us 2 days just to get to Georgia just because of all the stops!! LOL!
Ideally, I'd do anything to my grubby hands on a screaming canebrake down there, but they're illegal in Va, so oh well. Looks like "photos only" if we see one.

I`m probably going to Greece on the 1st of April to some serious european herping spots. I should find rat snakes(Elaphe, Zamenis), whip snakes(Dolichophis, Platyceps, Hierophis), vipers(Vipera ammodytes, ursinii, Montivipera xanthina), Montpelier snakes(Malpolon), grass & water snakes(Natrix), dousins of lizards, tortoises...scorpions...the best in european herps & invertebrates. Happy herping to everyone this season. Alex S.

On April 8th-11th im going back to the Okefenokee. On June 30-July 6 Im going to Texas and Louisiana. I plan on covering alot of ground in North Georgia this year to find the closest population of carolina pigmy rattlesnakes. Im going to check out a few spots in lower north and mid georgia to find a close population of cottonmouths. Ill be going to mississippi to find alligator snapping turtles(Its been my dream to see a big one in the wild and he has some good spots where hes found some monsters)
If Im lucky and everything works out, I may be going to Utah for about two weeks with my friend while hes visiting relatives and friends up there.

I'm going back to Apalachicola in about 3 weeks. Saw my first EDB there, hope to get some other good finds. Number one desire is to find a coral snake.

In Texas there is no Crotalus Adamantues. The farthest east the go is Louisiana. There is Crotalus Atrox which is the western diamondback. Also there is not many cottonmouths either.
