There is only 2-3 counties left that still have them in it. But the Louisianna Pine Snake is suppose to be very endangered there too.

MAN!! this is a GREAT year!!!!!!!!!!.., I'll be in Costa Rica within three weeks then up to Nicaragua..Lots of cool species ther..Mostly asper..but you never know when Lachesis will cross your path..only luck can tell.. then April..two days hunting in the Midlands of South carolina..With Kieth Taylor..Always Fun and Productive..Hopefully Canebrakes..Coachwhips ..Rasnakes ..Corns..etc... Then to Argentina in June..Cooler ther..But I am assured by the Guachos..on the ranches I''l be at that ..Many species will be abundant during the warm days..including Durrisus,terrificus..and more..So This will be a fun year..And thats all Before Honduras on Labor day Weekend!!!....Bone Fishing and Herping..HOW MUCH BETTER CAN LIFE GET????

Sounds great, Foxhunter. I'll be in Costa Rica in early-mid May myself. Hope to get some good pix of asper. Just ordered a pair of folding gentle Giants for the trip.

I'll be back in Costa Rica in mid April. I cant wait and I hope we build on the success that we had last year. Also I'll be herping S.Ga toward the end of march. What can be better? Bothrops,boas, and beer!!! bueno bueno bueno!!

Hey : G.longhurst and FLvenom.What areas of C.R do you herp in?..Osa?.Pacific or Carrebean?
Ive hunted in the South along the Panama border a bit..But You know C.R Laws about Disturbing Native Wildlife..Scince I only Hunt for Fun.. And photos..I never have run into any trouble in C.R..
Looking forward to Nicarargua..Along the San Juan and Up to The big Lake. No beauracracy..and Lots of Snakes im led to believe..That should be fun.. last week of March .first week of April.. Would love to here about your adventures down in Central America..and the areas you've found productive..Fox
