Well, thats a lot of trouble to pull teeth out of a live mouse. Your next best bet would be to "bop" the mouse and put it on tongs and play puppet with it in front of the snake. This way, it'll still be warm, and the snake will not know any better. If you've never bopped a mouse, let us know, we can explain it.

I give them a thump on the top of the head with my finger. If that doesn't kill them it disorients them and the snake can have it's way with it.

what about putting them in the freezer a day befor and heating it up just befor feeding time ? it`s a more humane way to kill a mouse.

I use the puppet trick as well but it might be a little more humane to place the tweezers around the mouses neck and give the tail a good yank.It quikly breaks the mouses neck while dislocating the spinal cord.Quick and effective, but thats just my opinion.

I personally do not like feeding my snakes live. But several of my snakes only eat them live. I never bop them on the head I just feel that is too grusome. Thankful the snakes I feed live mice too do not have get bit. I pretty much stoped feeding rodents alive when my cribo snake would eat the rat alive. The rat would scream and that just was way horrid to hear. When I feed my snakes live I always watch and if anythings go wrong I intervene quickly as possible. I have only had several mice bite me snakes so I take the upmost precaution when feeding them live. I like mice as much as I like snakes so I just can't bash them like a lot of people do.

Freezing is NOT a more humane way to kill something. It's a long a slow painful death. With reptiles it might be different, but mammals react differently to cold weather, so I'd highly advise against it.
Another way I've killed rats before is the same way Al described. I put the rats head into my pilsen tongs, squeeze real hard and yank the tail. Then the head seperates from the body inside the flesh. It aint a pretty thing, but it's one life or the other, so you make the choice. I say buy frozen, and buy some long tongs and make your warmed up mouse dance in front of the snake. Make it run around and russle up the bedding and look real. It's just a snake, it wont take too much convincing, just time and patience.

When I feed mine live, I toss the rat in and if it starts to bite the snake I take my hook and place it on the rats head and snap it in two. The rats still twitching and that gets the snake going.
