I had planned a trip to Apalachicola this month. I am completely stocked with my venomous pairs for the time being, so I was hoping to locate some pines, kings, and gulf coast box turtles. I read an article in the April Reptiles Magazine about a black/southern intergraded pine that occurs over on the west side of Blackwater, so I have decided to spend the weekend there instead. If anyone is familiar with this area and can share some information, please contact me off line. I have never herped this area before and would appreciate any help. Make sure you are not in the state forest when collecting. The state frowns on removal of plants & animals from any of its parks or forests.

Actually, that was the first thing I checked when I decided to move my trip from Apalachicola to blackwater. I emailed the park officer, she tells me they have no regs further then the state regs. I have my VRL, so I should be covered.
