How do you get your permits for keeping native non venomous species of snakes? Is a permit required to keep non native venomous? Also, what is the best website to find info pertaining to this subject?

It all depends on what state you live in Kyle. I think the name of that site is www. coastalreptiles.com. I believe they have a list of all 50 states regarding rules and regulations. I beleive that is the correct site. Hope this helps...Bryan

Hey Kyle, I e-mailed you the other day. Did you get it? You do have to have a permit in Georgia to keep native non-venomous and non-native venomous. Go to Georgia D.N.R.'s web site and look under special permits division. You can get their number and call them with any questions.

GA offers an educational display permit. This allows you to house 2 of each non-ven native species. You can down load the regs and the application from this site.
