I've had coral snakes before and used a DOR rat snake to scent the pinky with. I think the DOR needs to be somewhat fresh though. After a while of feeding this way, I gradually weened the coral off of the snake scent and onto the pinky scent. I imagine that others have done it other ways but that's what worked for me. Maybe lizard scent too. Hope this helps.
Good luck. I really like Corals.

I did this method which is,in a way, an inconvience. I bought some feeder corn snakes, about 20 of them,I put a few pinkies in the cage with them and the corns ate some of them but I got at least one of the pinkies out before the snakes could eat it, i put the pinky, now smelling like a fresh corn snake,in with the coral and the coral ate. Its been rumored that feeding a coral rodents will reduce the life span of a coral. Hope I help you
Tod.

I've heard of people putting pinkies in bags with large dead specimens of black rats or other similar species - Just to get them scented. I haven't bothered to do this however. I just catch as many 5-lined skinks as I can, and also a variety of other small snake species. No Diadophis though!
