Hi Jeremy:
Thanks, Yeah they seem to be healthy & content to lie around all the time. Nice that all my Bitis drink from the spray wand since they object to me dragging them to the water dish. I certainly don't miss pissing them off by hooking them and moving them to the dish. Still care needs to be taken since she could make a good try in chomping me from that distance but I signal my intentions first by spraying some water on her face from a distance. I only approach with the wand when I see signals she is in a "passive mood".
The only places I post pictures is on my site:
http://groups.msn.com/SomeLikeThemHot/hotherpcollection.msnw
or on Kingsnake.com
http://gallery.pethobbyist.com/index.php?user=42341&cat=500&subcat=167
I have had he since..roughly her birth, so there are many of her and her friends.
Cheers!
Al

Hey Jermey, I think the moss is over rated for the use of humid loving snakes that are ground dwellers. HOWEVER, I think it is good stuff to use on the arboreal species. And I believe it would be very beneficial to all species of frogs. Bryan

Hi Al, that sprayer you use is a pretty good idea. The manual spray bottles make me a little nervous sometimes. I hate the feeling of those eyes watching me move the spray bottle from side to side. I believe I will invest in the sprayer you use. Thanks for the tip. And to Jermey, no I have never seen my gaboons or any other snake make water bubbles. And I dont think dragging them to the water bowl everyday could be good for a gaboon or rhino. 3 days to once a week is plenty. My snake room stays pretty hot anyways. Always come out of there sweating..lol. Bryan

Yeah, I know the sweating feeling. People come over and we are in our snake rooms with our shirts off and we have everything set up like a jungle. Your basically swinging on vines and it feels like you are in the tropics and then you lock your cages put your shirt back on and leave the room and enter your air conditioned living room lol. Ive never thought about the moss for arboreals but thanks for the tip. I will have to use that on my amazon tree boa.(the only snake I have now.) Unfortunately I had to get rid of all of my snakes because I just turned 18 and until about another month I wont have any insurance on me at all. This is off topic but I have a full time job now that pays good. I want to save up about 3 thousand or so and build an extremely "out of this world" cage. I want to make it big enough for 10 or more people to walk into and have waterfalls and all of that good stuff, humidifiers on the ground level to make it look like a cloud forest. Have heat lamps set up on the inside of the cage. One thing I was thinking is putting a cave in the cage(about as big around as a basketball or bigger) and have a heat lamp inside the cage and let the snakes use that when they want. I would like to grow live plants and maybe even a small palmetto tree or something. The problem is finding a place to put it. Its a dream though.

Hey Bryan:
I bought mine at Ace Hardware for $9.99 It's all easy to clean plastic and safer that the manual spray bottle. I still think once a week is enough water for them.
