Doug: You are sure right about a lot of things posted here being same ol' same ol'. Time after time, Timber verses Canebrake, etc. I guess folks dont often search the old posts before asing their questions.
Still, it is good to have Texas Zoo Herpers here putting up with it. From my experience, the folks who work at the many reptile departments in the zoos in Texas are some of the most knowledgeable, friendly, and interesting folks out there to meet. Most all of you take your work seriously, and still have a good since of humor. And most all of the reptile exhibits at Texas zoos are first rate. Best Regards JohnZ

Thanks John.We try. I've networked with many zoos and their staffs over the years and most are great once you get to know em. I was with the Indy zoo for 11 years too before I headed down here to the land of cacti and rattlers. I have to say.......I'm liking it!
