I'm still a little skeptical of the distance. Is this a still form, or one that is moving? What, if I might ask, is your source for that bit of information?

Greg: If you Google ( eyesight in king cobra ) you will find many, many websites that all seem to repeat that the king cobra can see movement at 330 feet ( 100 meters ). Perhaps Jeremy saw one of these web sites. I believe that I have heard this stated on one of the National Geographic shows, also.
I did not find any scientific proof of this vision, but did not have time to examine the many web sites in detail, to see if they list their information source. It is quite possible that someone did studies on this, for it to be repeated so many times, or maybee it is just one of those urban legonds that gets repeated time and time again. JohnZ
