Can any one help me out here. I live in Georgia . Is there any way to get a permit to own or posess a non-venomous snake . So it could be used for education .

Correct me if I'm wrong, but most states allow you to keep non-venomous snakes. Just take a trip to a pet store near you and you'll probably find some nice (however probably very expensive) ones. My adive would be to go to a store and speak with the owner about his/her snakes. Find the one you like best. Then find that kind of snake for sale on the net for about 70% off of what you would have just paid.
