Kieron: It would appear that slowworms eat Slugs. Check out this site:

johns right they appear to eat slugs snails and earthworms but will eat arthropods and even small reptiles in the wild. slow worms are interesting after about 2-3 months they give bith to 6-12 young but can vary from 3-26.
hope this helps anyway

For questions about native UK reptiles and amphibians, check out www.herpetofauna.co.uk and especially the discussion forum on that site. Very friendly and helpful.
Cheers,
