I know Keith very well. Probably 5 years or so. If you went to his house…isn’t that an amazing place? Walking out of his back door is like stepping into the rainforest, and you are in Downtown. I would love to live there. I have bought, sold and traded snakes with him for a long time. He is one of the top collectors in the country. Two years ago, I called him and told him that I needed a large female cottonmouth to breed back to the big one I caught in Huntsville. At the last Columbia show, he came over to me and said, I have got something special for you. We went back to his place and he had me a female eastern cotton that is 61” and weights over 6 pounds. He knows I love size. I got that cotton, of course. Also got a king that was exactly 5’2” and a 32” gravid eastern hognose. I have not been on his tour, but I am sure it will be worth it. it has always been a pleasure dealing with Blackwater. Almost any south eastern species you see for sale at glades herp, come from Keith. He has miles of land he has set up for snake hunting. He will take you to fields full of car hoods that have been placed there for years. I would say yes, if you want to find snakes, take his tour. Try to get out with him or with Parish, they are the best.
Phillip, Sidney is no longer with them. She is working at a reptile zoo somewhere east of there.

I've been to his house and he showed me his collection of snakes. He gave my little brother his first snake and showed me all of his snakes. He had a box that was full of copperheads. He also had a lot of canebreaks.
