Austin: It really depends on the temperature of the room the snake`s cage is in. Corn snakes are not tropical, so do not need real high temperatures. If you keep him in a room with temperatures you are comforatable at, say 65 to 78 degrees, he should do fine. If it gets cooler than that, especially, in the winter months, you might want to shine a heat lamp on a corner of the cage. That way, he can go to the warm area if he wants to. You could also use a heat rock or under cage heat pad. Best Regards JohnZ
