I've searched the web, and some forums, and have been looking for Western pigmies for a loooooong time. I havent been able to find any up until I had a contact for some and his female has just dropped some babies.
Im just looking for some market value information to get a ballpark idea for whats fair and whats too much or too little. We've already agreed on a price for "first shed, and no feeding guarantee" for hopefully 1.1
Anybody got any relatively recent info as to how much these guys go for? I'll keep our price arrangement to ourselves out of respect to the seller.
Obviously the homework should have been done before the agreement, but hey...I was excited ok? LOL!!

I'm not sure there really is a set amount that could be considered "fair market" for streckeri. They're rarely offered, but when they are, it seems the price seems to usually be between $75-150 each. I sold a small group of snakes not too long ago for a friend, and contained therein was a pair of streckeri. All the responces I had for the group were from people wanting them but willing to consider taking the entire group just to get them. Needless to say, the demand is certainly there to make the snakes be rather valuable.
