I just got this new snake. Her scales are dry and falling off like a sunburn on top around head area. She still eats well and stays in the water bowl most of the time. She is about 2 1/2 ft long.I got her off of a breeder. It doesnt look like mites because I cant find any on her body or in the cage.It doesnt look like scale rot either.Does anyone have any suggestions or idea what this might be and how to treat it.It keeps getting worse.Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks All.

Sounds like the remnants of a bad shed.
Put her in a pillow case, knot it well, then wet it under the shower just enough to give the bag a good soaking
lay it somewhere and let the snake crawl around in it for a few hours.
the combination of the wet cloth and the snake trying to find a way out of the bag will rub the remaining shed off.
This works GREAT for eyecaps too. I've never seen it not work. Getting eyecaps off was a real pain till I found out about this little trick
