blue scales??

The bigger my Trimeresurus Albolabris,(bamboo viper) gets, the more blue colored scales start appearing. Most are on the tail. There are not many of them, and most are single scales. I was just wondering if anyone had seen this before.

Shane: I have seen that happen before a few times as the snakes got larger. I am not shure what causes it, or if it is normal or not. JohnZ
