I would be more inclined to answer this question if I knew who you were but I don't. Try filling out the profile information, so we know more about you.

Tyger (or whom ever is behing the moniker),
If you have to ask this question, then the answer to yourself, should be NO! With all of the information that's available on this website and others like it, I'm perplexed that anyone wanting to responsibly make a move toward this dangerous activity, would not have done a search first.
Since you are from the mid-west and I know, there is a plethora of traders from this section of the country, your resources are numerous. The first step in approaching this community, given "Our Position On The Pet Trade" (found right under Our Mission Statement, on the About the SHHS link on the far left-hand side of this webpage) and "Our Mission Statement" (found in same location), would most likely be, to introduce yourself, so that this community could take you seriously and know who and how old of a person we're hearing this question from.
With this being said, the benefit of the doubt being cast your way, in my most reserved of wishes, I'm posting the following link.
http://www.coastalreptiles.com/venomous_laws.htm
I would like to hope that your best of intentions for the conservation and preservation of our indigenous reptiles will be on the fore front when you attempt to come into this community. You should also note, that we DO have at various times, visits from State Wildlife Conservation officers and that the link above, is purely informational. The burden of proof (of the laws in your area) is on you. Don't rush into capturing wild animals, you could do more damage than your intellect could justify.
Sternly against your idea,
Matt
