Gentlemen (and ladies too),
As part of my continuing effort to educate the public about environmental issues in general (and herpetological issues in particular), I am teaching a merit badge class to a group of Boy Scouts. The badge is “Reptile and Amphibian Study”. The standards were written by a very reputable herpetologist (Whit Gibbons), so I am comfortable that the kids will get a lot out of it. I would like your help, though. I would like permission to use some of the images posted on this site in a powerpoint. Obviously, if you posted a picture on this site, you want people to see it. I am just trying to do the polite/proper thing. Once I have the powerpoint finished, I will post the URL so that everyone can look at it and give me feedback (if you want to). Also, I would just like to make a plug here that ANY TIME you can coherently/positively get the message out there that all of nature (especially our beloved reptiles) are important, the better life will be. Well, what are you waiting for? Get of your asses and go teach something good to someone who needs it!
Best regards
Josh

Joshua: It is great you are teaching Reptile Study to the Scouts. I used to teach that in the past to Scout Groups. Before Whit updated the book, the Scouts used a Merit Badge Book of Reptile Study written by Roger Conant. Good luck with the project. You can certanly use the few photos I have posted here in your power point thing.
Best Regards
