Yes, I have recovered some that were left in the backs of prey. A neonate Death Adder left one in the back of a pink mouse once. I was very surprised to see a 2 mm fang in a 6 cm snake! I kept it along with a Puff Adder fand that flew out and stuck to a silk leaf after striking prey. It's impressive but small compared to her fangs. I'm not motovated enough to dig through their feces to recover them. Bad enough it's usually a huge pile that I have to remove with a less than friendly snake about.
Here's one of my gabby yawning taken about a year ago, she is now 1.2M and 3 kilos.

Feel free to look around there are some other fang shots in there.

Al, those are some nice Gabby Fang Shots. Pictures like that, really give you a new outlook on what they could do with a Bite. I also have found Shed Fangs in Mice and Rats. I have Two Fangs put up, that came from A. contortrix and A. piscivorous. The sizes a small, considering both Snakes were not over 3ft. Long.......................Be Safe Ya’ll, Happy Herping : Wally

Damn, sorry Al. I meant to say, I DON'T want you to pin it and show them off with a Bic pen. I was hoping you could get some snaps when they are eating or re-setting their jaws.

I have never kept them, but one snake that may be in the running for fang length in proportion to size is Attractaspis. Those buggers can bite you without opening their mouths.
