As a general rule, what do all of you think is the best Brewmation Temp for (A. piscivorous) Cottonmouth? As for myself, I normally bring the Temp down to about 55 degrees F, for about 85 Days. I wonder what Temps the rest of ya’ll prefer using?.................Be Safe Ya’ll, Happy Herping : Wally

I didnt know cottonmouths produced alcohol. LOL!
I know several people who will keep them around 50-55 degrees with great sucess. I also keep it dark since its better for the snake since it makes them feel like in a den site.

Hi Phillip, I also keep my Animals in the Dark during Brewmation. I have a some-what unorthodox way of Cooling my Snakes, I use an Old “Working” Refrigerator. The way I do this is to hook up a Manual Thermostat, plug the Fridge into it, then plug the Thermostat into the wall “of cores”. I also drill about 20 Holes in the sides of the Fridge, this allows for air flow. Believe it or not this idea actually works like a charm. It was a Brain Storm that produced this idea “LOL”. You know they say that the Mother of all Invention is Necessity. Well, I proved that to be true “LOL”. Awwww and by the way, I don’t make Beer out of my Snakes “LOL”............Be Safe Ya’ll, Happy Herping : Wally
