Anybody have any field work in texas, florida, or even southern GA, MISS, AL in the month of January and if you did please post?...the "snake finding season" is rather boring in the midwest!

I saw 3 atrox out in early Jan when a buddy of mine was moving his firewood pile in his back yard. Yesterday I saw a roadkill Pituophis on the way to work. I haven't been "herping" since it started to cool off but aparently the snakes are still moving due to the warmer temperatures.
