Hi guys I posted a question that was strange, a while ago asking if snakes fart it was for a friend, anyway I got the response I expected but guess what I HAVE FOUND, an article called "Snake Defensive Farts" ! its on www.anapsid.org/snakefart.html.
It is apparently only found in 2 Noth American snakes and it is referred to as "cloacal popping" wow! The snakes in question are thw WesternHook-nose snake gyalopion canum and the Sinoran Coral snake, This was apparently studied by Bruce Young, anyway please take a look I have answered my own question but truly what do you guys think it seems crazy to me! cheers keyz.

Personally, I would call this somethig different. The coral snake at least, has the ability to suck air IN through it's cloaca and "pop" over and over again.
Now, THAT would take first prize at any frat party talent show! :)
