Hi,
I figured introducing myself might be a good idea so here we go. Im Emma, 21, currently studying an MSc in Ecology at Bangor Uni in Wales. Not got any snakes as yet, it wouldn't be fair or sensible to try to keep them while I am at Uni, but I hope to be able to keep/work with some in the future.
I do however have my little Mediterranean Spur Thighed Tortoise back home that we have had for a good few years, my baby!
Anyway, hello to you all and love the site!
Em x

Greeting Emmy:
Welcome to our website :-)
If you're at that University you must know Prof. Wolfgang Wuster, if you don't you should. One of the key academic players in the herp would.

Hi Emmy
Welcome. I'm from the Wirral, Cheshire! Not too far from you.
Good luck with what ever you plan on doing.

I do know Wolfgang, Wolfie to those of us who went on an interesting, rum fueled 2 weeks in Dominica earlier this year! In fact... I must make sure I pin him down about a couple of pictures he has of me with the lovely little snakes they have over there! He is a great bloke as well as a herps expert!
And hello over there in the Wirral! One of my friends on my course also is from the Wirral, I may well be spending some time in your neck of the woods in May :) Then back to the West Midlands once the course is done!
Em x
