I response to my previous question "Most Venomous New World Snake" I thought someone would have given me an answer by now. I am defining "Most venomous" PURELY from a LD50 molecular level with subcutaneous & intramuscular routes of envenomation taking preferance. I THOUGHT the South American Rattlesnake was atop the list, but looking at BGF's list, I only see the Mojave listed. How does corals, golden lancehead "measure up" in the scheme of things?

Here's an LD50 list someone else compiled from several sources. It covers more species, but there are still lots of holes. For instance, you probably won't find a published IM number for corals anywhere since their fangs are not long enough to make an IM envenomation possible. I can't vouch for the accuracy of these numbers.
