Dylan, as Eric and Todd have stated, sliding doors is the way to go with a venomous cage. They are many, many times safer, and offer way more options on how you work with a snake.

well thanks for all the opinions and advice guys! i guess ill be sticking with the sliding glass door cages with locks from AP because they are also better for constrictors than the drop down ones. im glad to here they are the preference for hots as well.
