I have been wondering how many Members of this Site live in North Alabama “other than Ricky and I”? It would be nice if we could all get together sometime, and do some Brush Busting. Maybe set up a Day each Month that we could meet and hit the Brush. It would give us all a chance to get to know more people with our same interest. Still a lot of good areas left to Herp around these parts. Just a thought, if anyone is interested? ....................Be Safe Ya’ll, Happy Herping : Wally

Yeah Chris, I would love to Herp North FL. Maybe if we get something like this started we could do some traveling. ....................... Shane, if you know anybody else that would be interested, tell them about this idea. I know of at least 2 people other than myself here in North Alabama, that are Members of SHHS. Who knows, maybe we could start a group of sorts. By the way, I live in Limestone Co., witch is directly east of Lauderdale Co. ..................Be Safe Ya’ll, Happy Herping : Wally

i'm from florence originally but now reside in limestone county as well.....i'd love to have people to do some herping with occasionally and would love to do some in florida as well one day.........i wanna do/get involved with something to maybe help get our rights back here, or at least prevent the loss of more

Hey I just remembered I met a guy from around florence about 4 years ago, and I traded him a caimen for 4 snakes, 2 edb's and two c.horridus any clue as to who it was? Funny thing was we made the trade at the Shoals Walmart and my dad is the store manager there he would have flipped if he had found out I had hots any where near his store. Ricky: I am also looking to Join some sort of Org. that wants to protect our Rights. I have been debating on it, and think I am going to try and Join the NCARK. Who knows, maybe becoming a member of one out of State, can actually help here also. I would like to start a branch of something like the NCARK in Alabama. or maby we could go for national instead of local, the shhs has people from around the world, if we could pass the word allong so that most members get word, we could really make a change. for exsample, in florida, there was a senator that tried to pass a bill saying that there can be no one with possesion of boas, pythons, or hots! maby we could pettition laws like that and come up with a national law that is fair to both us, and the blithering idiots that let their pet goin the wild. after we have reached an agreement, we present the bill to a member of the senate or house that supports our ideas and let them do the rest, witha little luck, we could get this passed by congress!

yeah, i'm gonna joing ncark as well, but when things start really affecting people who keep boids, then there will be 3x as many people out to fight the fight......
