Robert Kirk as mambaseller# again?
See, this is what I don't understand.
Every so many months, Robert Kirk sends a bunch of emails asking to be allowed back onto this site because he has changed the way he lives, just wants to help out with the venomous community, was misunderstood and maliciously maligned in the first place, etc...can't we please just give him another chance? yada yada yada.
Across the board, none of the web failitators believe in his self-reported reform.
So the answer is no.
So then he creates other names which are remarkably similar to his old ones and uses them to attack the site and the facilitators of the site.
But...he doesn't understand why we don't believe he has changed his ways in the first place?
Well here is my position on Robert Kirk.
If he owned every last venomous reptile on the planet Earth and the only way I could get one was to buy it from him...
I would quit having anything to do with venomous reptiles (which I have safely kept for over 30 years) just to avoid having to deal with Robert Kirk.
Is that clear enough?

What they hell does the original post mean? Is this a threat to phobos? About ripping his house off? I'm lost but first glance looks like a troll post to me. I read the other posts about Robert Kirk. What should I know about him because I had a email from him a while back but did not respond to it. Looked weird and bogus.
Can someone fill me in in a private email instead of on here.

God forbid,who cares?! why don't mods delete these type of things? this site has really turned into a soap-opera... has been for awhile. i hope i'm not possibly fueling the fire here... mods- instead of posting on te topic to fuel him along, how about erasing his post and being done with it. we are adults here

I intentionally didn't delete this because:
1. He didn't make a direct threat.
2. I wanted to take the opportunity to warn everyone about him again.
3. I am not on my own personal computer so don't have access to all my Robert Kirk files. Here are some highlights:
a. He pretended to have been killed by a cottonmouth bite to avoid some gone bad deals he had made.
b. He came on the site pretending to be his griefstricken son and cousin and friend (all under various nicknames) and attacked site members who were skeptical about his reported demise with foul language and personal attacks.
c. He came back and, without so much as an apology, asked permission to start posting on the site as himself since using aliases was getting tiresome.
d. When told no, he sent me an email wishing me to be MIA or KIA on my upcoming deployment.
e. He has publicly accused the SHHS as being a clearinghouse for illegal reptiles.
f. He has threatened several of us with visits from DNR (something the officers of SHHS are clearly not in fear of) to find our (reported ... by him) illegal reptiles.
There is more but from what is listed above anyone can get a general idea about the integrity of his actions.

he said she said crap is immature- he is obviously getting what he wants from you and the others. whay hes said in the past has nothing to do with what this site promotes. hes a troll, and everyone knows that.

sounds like an a** thanks for the warning, i can't believe that he tried to shut this site down, i couldn't live without it, as i'm sure is the same with some of the other members.

Karl, this dude is Crazy, that’s a Fact. I remember when he tried to tell everyone he was Killed by a Cottonmouth, it had everyone Worried to Death about his Family and Friends. Then come to find out he was pulling a prank. Sometimes I wonder about people, it fascinates me how he keeps a good Relationship with his Family. You know, Adam, if this was just some site that I visited and I felt no responsibility towards the other people who come here, I would probably feel the same way you do.
But when people email me and ask me about buying from the vendors that advertise on our site or to complain about people who are running scams or people who are posting threats and profanity, then it becomes more than a soap opera to me.
If you don't want to know about the people that you can't trust in the herp market, that is certainly your right.
When someone negatively affects the website and the society (SHHS) then I see it as my responsibility to warn others who might be impacted by them.
Feel free to skip over all the posts regarding Robert Kirk. But don't be one of the people that emails me or Chris asking how to get your money back from him or how to get the law involved because of something he did that you think is illegal. I generally don't help much in these instances. I just warn people up front.
