Chad: You mean to tell me, you have never heard of a Rattling Bull. I see them all the time here in Alabama “LOL Just Joking”.
Stephanie: This is one of the most Common Myths attached to Venomous and Non-Venomous Snakes. I don’t know how many times I have overheard this one Myth, being told in a Local Coffee Shop.
1: Bull Snakes are Egg Layers.
2: Rattlesnakes are give Live Birth.
If you also take into consideration that Rattlers and Bulls are Totally Deferent Species, it would make sense that they can’t Breed.
If you have any other Questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Be Safe Ya’ll, Happy Herping : Wally

This myth may have originated with someone seeing a bullsnake ratling it's tail in dry leaves or something. They can also make a hiss that is a fair approximation of a rattler. MANY non-venomous snakes rattle their tails, which leads to all kinds of confusion...

Not only are they different species, but of different genera & the next notch or sub-notch above that. It would be almost along the lines of a horse & a cow breeding.

Horse and a Cow? would that be a How or a Corse? btw, if you ever catch me around a campfire ask me to tell the story about the pot bellied pig and the donkey. It's 100% true, 101% unbelieveable, but ... I can't tell it here.
