How do i join a herpgroup in my area?I am from Huntsville , Al. I have know one that will go herping with me.Everyone thinks i am crazy for likeing snakes.
I have always had a likeing to snakes.People often ask me why but i dont know how to explaine it.Is there anyone else with that problem?

John: Most people do not understand Reptile Lovers “much less Venomous Lovers”, all I can tell you is to talk on here and you might get to know some Herpers in your area.
I read in your Post, that you are from Morgan Co. area. Well, I am from Limestone Co. and I do most of my Herping on my own.
If you want to get to know anyone on here, I suggest you tell everyone how much experience you have Working With, and Handling these Animals. Do remember, we are very Safety Minded Individuals and we are always reluctant to give any advise to anyone that don’t give their Experience Level. You see, if we were to give you advise and someone got hurt, we would feel responsible.

I have been handling snakes since i was a kid about 7 or 8 years old. I have not been handling venomous snakes long. I have handled them a few times. I mostly like photographing them. I am getting experince
handling them but i am a begginer. In my profile iI realize I put that I keep Rattlesnakes. I ment that is the type I like. I am going to change that. I hope me being a begginer does not keep yall from giving me advice and tips.
