These are Pictures I took, of a Juvenile Agkistrodon p. leucostoma just yesterday. This Baby was just killed on the Road in front of me “I watched it happen”. Bad thing is, it was killed on a Road that has a Gate, and this Gate is Marked (No Unauthorized Vehicles Past This Point). Now, the problem here is, that the WMA that owns this land dose not enforce a Speed Limit.
Well to make a long story short, this is not the only dead Cottonmouth I have seen on this Road. In the past 2 Months I have counted 25, on just this one stretch of Road “by the way, this Road is only about 2 Miles long”.
I wish some how I could talk the Officials, at this WMA to Post a Speed Limit for their Employees. Big problem is, I have called them almost every Day for the past Month and all they do is ignore me (lot of good they are doing huu?)
